System Installation Suite is a collection of open source software projects designed to work together to automate the installation and configuration of networked workstations. These software projects fit around a modular design framework designed to be cross-platform, operating system independant, and scalable from a single workstation to a thousand node collection of workstations. This version of System Installer primarily fixes some bugs found on SuSE 7.2 and SLES7. Also included are some other minor fixes and the ability to set the root password for an image from tksis. A source RPM is now available as well.System Installer 0.90 Released
This new version of System Installer supports many new features. These include:- Generic, staged, rpm installation from config files.
- Support for fetching an image from mksiimage and tksis

System Installer 0.80 Released
This new version of System Installer supports many new features. These include:- TurboLinux support - System Installer now builds TurboLinux images properly. This has been tested on TurboLinux 6.5 and TurboLinux 7.0 Server.

- Support for passing all config file options on the command line.

System Configurator 1.20 Released
This new version of System Configurator is mainly a bug fix release, though it does include an update of the PCI hardware table so that even the newest hardware should be supported.You can get your new version of SC from the System Configurator project page or with the SIS Network Installer
System Installer 0.70 Released
This new version of System Installer supports many new features. These include:- RPM best version library - you now no longer need to specify version numbers in your rpm lists
- SuSE support - System Installer now builds SuSE images properly. This has been tested on the x86 versions of SuSE 7.2 and SLES 7, and is reported to work on SuSE 7.3 as well.
- Support for multiple kernels in the image - System Installer now will set up every kernel in your image.
